At Te Kopuru School, Term 3 has been a whirlwind of activity! We recently celebrated Book Week, and a huge thank you goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Little for their incredible efforts in the library. Their dedication made the week extra special for our tamariki.
Our students have been busy perfecting their dance routines in preparation for the upcoming NW Dance Competition, with Whaea Jess spending countless hours guiding them through practice. The energy and enthusiasm are truly inspiring!
In addition to dance, our tamariki have been hard at work writing and practicing their speeches for upcoming presentations. Public speaking is a valuable skill, and it’s wonderful to see everyone putting in the effort.
Sports have also been a big focus this term. We’ve had soccer coaching, rugby development sessions from Northland Rugby, and basketball coaching to keep our students active and engaged. Matua Magic and Whaea Tania have been teaching us the ins and outs of softball, adding yet another exciting element to our sports program.
It’s been a busy and rewarding time at Te Kopuru School, and we’re excited to see all the hard work pay off in the coming weeks!
