Te Kopuru Matariki Festival 2024

On the 24th of June, Te Kopuru School proudly hosted the first-ever Kahui Ako Kapa Haka Festival, Hui Ahurei O Matariki. The event brought together most of the schools from across Northern Wairoa, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

The day was a resounding success, providing a perfect opportunity to celebrate Māori culture and strengthen connections with our whānau. The performances were powerful and filled with mana, showcasing the dedication and talent of our tamariki. The festival truly embodied the spirit of Matariki, bringing our community together in unity and cultural pride.
